Women’s & Men’s Fellowship: Finding Belonging This Fall

As Hebrews 10:24–25 reminds us: "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."

Belonging is the core practice of missional presence for both Men’s and Women’s Fellowship. While our shared vision is the same, the way each group lives it out looks a little different.

Women's Fellowship cultivates belonging by creating space to be present—to God and to one another—through fellowship, prayer, and friendship. Our hope is to see women take the first step by attending women's events, then grow to invite others into that same experience, all while welcoming and connecting those who haven't yet felt that sense of belonging.

Men's Fellowship shares a similar heart: to see men at Redeemer live open-heartedly with one another, building trust and friendship through shared experience. More specifically, we long to see men on the fringes of our parish find belonging, men within our parish being formed into the image of Christ, and men throughout our parish stepping out to serve their neighbors.

This fall, you are invited to find belonging through our Women’s and Men’s Fellowship events.

Women are invited to gather for our upcoming Fellowship Brunch on Saturday, September 19, and join a Still Waters morning retreat. Men are invited to a Fall Cookout on Friday, September 11, and an All Saints Chili Cook-Off in November.

Whether you’ve been connected for a while or looking for where you fit, we hope you’ll join us and consider inviting others who may be looking for a place to belong, too. As we gather this fall we hope these opportunities provide a chance for the men and women in our parish to make new connections, deepen old friendships, and grow together in their relationships with Christ.
