Small Groups are the heartbeat of our parish.
Comprised of four or more people meeting together weekly, small groups share a meal, reflect more deeply on the Scriptures, and pray together.
Over time, these communities become anchors in the lives of their participants. The encouragement and support of a committed group of fellow Christians gives us a rootedness from which we engage other people and areas of our life with grace, prayerfulness, faith, hope, and love.
Sign-ups for Redeemer Small Groups are open from August 1 to September 8. Complete the form linked below, and our Director of Community Formation, Oldson Duclos, will be in touch to schedule a time to meet and connect you to a group.

Small Group FAQs
-
Small Groups are groups of four or more people who are committed to pursuing life in Christ together. Every week throughout the fall and spring semesters, parishioners gather for an hour and half to eat with each other, pray with and for one another, unpack the previous Sunday’s scripture readings, and work out their faith with one another. Groups can be co-ed or gender specific.

No. Anyone who is a friend to the church and not an active member of another church is welcome to join. We are glad you are here.
-
Yes! Bring an open and honest heart posture. Your host may ask you to bring a side or dessert. Ask your host how you can best support them. Offer to come early to help set up or stay after to help clean up.
-
Small Group gatherings usually last 1.5 to 2 hours. Please do not feel obligated to stay longer than the time allotted for the group.
-
Arrangements vary by group. Some hire a babysitter, others rotate parental duties based on children's ages, and others have children join their group. We believe your children can benefit from seeing you invest in a healthy community.
-
Most groups begin by sharing a meal or snack, followed by a discussion of the scriptures taught the previous Sunday. The group then discusses how they can support each other through prayer, closing by praying for one another.
-
Groups meet at various times throughout the week. Some will meet early in the morning before work while others will meet for dinner or after the little ones are asleep.
-
Gathering in both large and intimate settings is what the Church has done for over two thousand years because growth does not happen in isolation. Gathering in Small Groups works in tandem with Sunday worship and is vital to working out the practicalities of the Christian faith.
