PRODUCTION MANAGER

SUMMARY

• Staff Level:
  Part-time

• Hours Per Week:
  Part-Time (5 hours per week); Sundays and Holy Days required.

• Reports to:
  Senior Director of Operations

• Compensation:
  $300 / Sunday

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

• You will deliver consistently excellent audio and visual production for Redeemer’s worship services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Produce and mix Redeemer’s Sunday morning rehearsals and worship services.

• Draft and maintain run sheets that itemize responsibilities related to all A/V tasks for use in perpetuity.

• Recruit, train, schedule and lead volunteers to assist in sound production and other A/V roles on Sunday mornings.

• Log production issues and give feedback to the Artist In Residence for week-over-week improvements

• Communicate with volunteers in advance of Sunday morning to confirm expectations and call times.

• Edit and upload sermon audio to the Redeemer website each week.

SKILLS YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:

• You have experience working with digital sound boards in live music spaces.

• You have an exhaustive (almost obsessive) attention to detail and a strong ability to steward your attention in real time.

• You are a self-starter who carries tasks through to their full completion.

• You express deference to the creative vision of the band leader.

• You take initiative and follow through.

• You have a learning/growth mindset in curating use of new tools to increase the quality of Redeemer’s services.

• You have demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with digital sound board technologies, routing, and wireless microphone troubleshooting.

• You value receiving regular, directive feedback as a means of growth and improvement.

• You are able to organize and empower volunteers to partner toward this main objective.

• You possess genuine desire to apply your knowledge, skills, and abilities to improve the production quality of Redeemer’s Sunday services.

• You are a musician or vocalist.

• You have golden ears or perfect pitch.
