YOUNG ADULT FELLOWSHIP COORDINATOR

SUMMARY

  • Staff Level:
    Volunteer (3 hours / week)

  • Reports to:
    Senior Director of Ministries

  • Supports:
    Young Adult Fellowship


OBJECTIVES:

  • Lead a monthly gathering for young adults (20s-30s) that offers fellowship and teaching relevant to their stage of life.

  • Recruit and/or direct a Young Adult Fellowship leadership team so that the culture, ethos, and practices of this ministry align with the vision for Redeemer Anglican Church.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the logistics for First Fridays at the Parish House (or other venues) so that these events are conducted with warmth and excellence.

  • Make it simple and easy for new young adults to join Redeemer’s Young Adult Fellowship community.

  • Shape the Young Adult Fellowship so that it functions as an “on-ramp” for new young adults into the larger community of Redeemer Anglican Church.

  • Participate with Redeemer’s staff and attend staff training events and celebrations whenever possible, i.e. quarterly staff day-retreats and staff Christmas party.


SCHEDULE:

  • Monthly meeting with Senior Director of Ministries

  • Required attendance at monthly First Friday gatherings

  • Encouraged attendance of quarterly staff development and training events


SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to the church's mission and values.

  • A commitment to excellent hospitality.
